Committee: Artist in Residence
Chair: Open for 2024 - 2025 School Year
Description: Work with Ronald Reagan arts teachers to select an artist and arrange the artist in residence program for the entire school. Art teachers do most of the heavy lifting with this, the parent role is just supportive. Take pictures of the event if available and post to Facebook/social media to share with the school community.

Chair: Open for 2024 - 2025 School Year
Description: Update the birthday board (off the cafeteria) each month with students who have birthdays. This is a great activity for a working parent. The prep work can be done on your time and the board itself decorated after school hours if needed.
Committee: Book Fair

Description: Organize the book fair twice per school year, Fall and Spring. Coordinate volunteers to assist with the setup, sale and takedown. This one is a time commitment, but comes with lots of support!

Description: Contact teachers and gather club requests to present at the HSA general meeting to be voted on for funding.

Description: Organize school dances and other events. We have lots of events in the works for the 2024 - 2025 school year and would love to have more parents help out with ideas, setup, takedown and running events. This is another great one for working parents. A small group of parents running an event togeher usually get together to discuss and divide duties in the evening. All events take place after school hours.

Description: Work with area restaurants to setup a monthly dining for dollars event that does not conflict with school events. Socialize the dates on facebook, eagle express and in school (news, TV screens)

Description: Create sign-up genius and socialize it to gather food and beverage donations for gallery night. Coordinate volunteers for the night of the event to help serve refreshments.

Chair: Open for 2024 - 2025 School Year
Description: Organize the annual new family breakfast to help welcome incoming Kindergarten families. Gather materials (food and coffee, crafts) and coordinate volunteers for the event.

Description: coordinate volunteers to complete a fall and spring clean-up of the garden space at Ronald Reagan. Gather materials in Spring and again coordinate volunteers to spruce up the garden space.

Description: Gather printer cartridges from bins in office (once annually). Work with vendor to get reimbursed for eligible cartridges, responsibly dispose of the rest.

Description: Gather school supply lists towards the end of the school year. Work with School Pak to get our school account setup and socialize the availability of purchase for parents.

Description: Act as the admin for the HSA Facebook page, and all grade level pages. All posting requests go through the social media chair and must be approved by HSA vice president prior to being posted. See Posting/flier guidelines on Guidelines/Forms page.

Description: Coordinate the semi-annual spirit wear sale. Socialize the sale and address any questions and concerns from parents.

Description: Organize the annual staff/student lunch raffle. Contact teachers to determine who is willing to participate, socialize the event, gather raffle entries and funds and assist with the lunch on the date of the event.
